I refound a 1991-P Lincoln that has the appearance of metal blisters. I'm unable to determine if the blisters resulted from the minting process or some post production chemical or electrical experiment.

Good job following up with the research. This is why I do not like nor collect zinc cents. I am not a big fan of them and I feel that over time, eventually they will fail. The only ones I sell occasionally are the 1995 Lincoln Cent DDO, but they have to have no damage to the coin in respect to the strike.

Excellent feedback, if a zinc coin doesn't have a quality, easily seen, DDO I won't waste time on it. I have way to many copper cents to research as it is.Comment
