CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Odd rules

    I just stumbled upon this looking for info on changing my signature, which I still cant figure out for some reason . RULES #3
    Is that for any site or is it strictly promoting the site? So we cant post a link to another site with info? I would like an explanation or example for this rule.
    We all post links and there is a section here with links. Only post the links in that section?

    I've been here forever. They didn't say anything at all about it. I imagine that if it is coin related in some way, it promotes the hobby.
    When I signed up, I wanted to use my URL as my sign in. James the admin suggested that I don't do that and placed it into my signature block instead.
    I think it may be a slightly outdated rule, or only they if they have if they have to selectively enforce it.

      That is a very strangely worded rule. It says "within a body of a post or thread," so it sounds like the signature is fair game.
