    Series 1935 $1 Silver Certificates

    I came across seven $1.00 Series 1935 Silver Certificates: 1-Series C; 2-Series D; 2-Series E; 2-Series G. But each set have different Secretary Of The Treasury signatures.

How is this possible? And are these desirable?

    Thank you,

Don't know. We typically talk coins here. I personally do not do paper money. Maybe a Google search will aid you.

"As was usual with currency during this period, the year date on the bill did not reflect when it was printed, but rather a major design change. Under the Silver Purchase Act of 1934, the authority to issue silver certificates was given to the U.S. Secretary of Treasury."

I would look up each Treasury member to see the dates they served....
