That is ugly looks like it might have been exposed to a caustic substance. In my opinion. -
In my opinion...It's either a dryer coin, or it's been in the ground, or exposed to the weather for quite some time. Whatever it is, it was done After it left the mint. Pitting looks like environmental damage but in the end d whatever the cause, it's damage.
