CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Respeto que no quieran comentar, pero tarde o temprano tendrán que hacerlo, no se pueden tirar años de investigación por personas que han dedicado su vida. Alguien tendrá que poner un alto.

Can someone explain to me why they don't put the currency error?
I respect that you don't want to comment, but sooner or later you will have to, you can't throw away years of research by people who have dedicated their lives. Someone will have to put a stop to it.
It has been two days, over a holiday of the new year.
Many people do other things than offer opinions here on a Holiday weekend..., please relax a little.

In my opinion, I have looked over the coin and I am wondering what is wrong with this ? Did you submit this coin to PCGS or buy it from some where? This matters....

Some people do not care much about, or even know what a variety or error is, so they will not pay the $50 USD to have the coin examined for this issue. They just want the coin graded and slabbed... nothing more.

If you sent the coin in, what was the coin condition described to PCGS on the form ?

The hazing could have come from anywhere. That was super common even in the cellophane packaged proof sets of the 1960s.

If the grading company does not add a condition to the label, then they either do not recognize that condition, or it might be too minor to list. The hazing typically can be seen that way after a coin was cleaned, removing the shiny patina. The coin you have would have been given a details grade if it was found cleaned. Not sure why the haze is there, maybe severe temperature changes for several years . It's difficult to know.
