it is slabbed, but needs to be given a doubled ear variety, please take a look.

I'm not so sure. It appears to be a hit.

In my opinion it looks like machine doubling, worthless doubling.
Its lower shelf like and has removed some material.
It does not match the example on varietyvista.com.....
