CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

A long shot is.....ODV-029 (Strengthened ERTY of LIBERTY)

          I suggest visiting this site:

In my opinion, the magnification is more than 10X and this would be listed as "minor". If this issue happens to a lot of coins, the potential value would be insignificant.

In addition, its not at the same height as well which leads me to believe this is simply worthless (mechanical) doubling, surely not a "hot lips" Morgan VAM variety by any stretch of the imagination.

The ODV-013 (Doubling on forehead) is a decent example of a potential doubling event. It resembles a cookie cutter style line and it is nearly at the same height. Yes, it is NOT from the same year, but it shows the classic cookie cutter style impression at a lower magnification.

Anyway, IMHO, This is tooo minor for my tastes.

i didn't read the whole thread but if someone didn't mention it, that lapel looks re-engraved and those have been getting listed for years now so if you haven't, check into that.
