CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

Well I'll be dipped...Gary thank you....I knew it had to be something because I put 2 of the same year and mint and they were completely different. One looked "normal" while the other looked like I described. The 64 you can really see it and feel the texture of Lincoln. I will post it in a separate post tomorrow sometime. Thanks Gary. I really appreciate it. Learn something new everyday!

you're gonna come across a lot of this across many coin series but especially lincolns and especially 60s,70s and perhaps 80s.
