1982-P small date zinc penny 2.5 grm. DDO on Liberty
Greetings all, looked at this coin, over and over for other indicators; like, 1982 D copper small date, CAN'T BELIEVE, last Wed. 2/22/23 @ 4:15 a.m. noticed double die on Liberty. First coin I've ever witnessed this, other than YouTube videos . Please tell me....grandpa, you, can buy a new pair of Vans! Many blessings all, madmac.Tags: None

If they are under the examination area, only you and the CONECA staff will be able to see the post.
If your daughter tried to post pictures in this post, I don't see them. Here are some tips for photos.- Each photo can not exceed 2mb each.
- JPG style photos are the best, they can be huge photos and be small in size.
- You can have up to 8 photos in a post.
- You can reply to your own post and add more photos.
- it's best to crop or cut out any unnecessary background, so the coin or affected area of the coin stands out.
- The max width on photos should be close to 800 pixels. That about the width of the forum page when placing a photo in it.
- clear focused photos are very important.
- not too much light, glare makes it difficult to see the affected areas.
How to take a good photo :- You can lay the coin on a table.
- Find a box, like 6x6x6 or 8x8x8 and put that on the table. Place the phone on top of the box, and turn the camera app on.
- Slide the coin close to the base of the box.
- Edge the phone over the side a tad, so the camera can see the coin.
- Focus on the coin and using one hand to stabilize the phone, while it's still on the box and the other hand can lightly tap the button to take the photo.
IF that 1982 is a double struck, if it is uncirculated, it would not be enough to buy a van. It might make enough for one or two tank fulls of gas. Double struck Lincolns are one of the more popular major error coin types out there.Last edited by MintErrors; 05-20-2023, 10:47 PM.Gary Kozera

hello thankyou for the reply Mr. Kozera and mint errors; the coin is circulated , though i believe the planchet roughness has protected it from amassing the usual scratches and gouges. The double strike, if so, has doubling on Liberty, back of head hairline, the date, the ear lobe, and E in America; it's a small date, zinc. Maybe 3 tankfulls of gas ! thanx again, sincerely, madmac.
