2021D Tuskegee airmen quarter.
Another question for the Tuskegee airmen quarter, would the type of markings here be from a feeder finger or or a type of die gouge? The pictures are from two different quartersYou do not have permission to view this gallery.

i think most people have been referring to these as feeder finger gouges but IIRC, some die experts have stated that modern machines either don't use the feeder fingers anymore or that these are not feeder finger gouges/scrapes.
they are on a LOT of coinage from the past 5-10 years but do appear on some older coinage as well.coinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com

Thank you for getting back to me, are these types of markings an error.? Would they have a different name.? Would they be of any value.? Thanks again for your reply. I was wondering if you would have any thoughts about the first Tuskegee airmen quarter I asked about with possible doubling on the ear?
