CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Just found this penny going through my mom’s jar’s. Not sure where to look to read about this penny. This is my first Indian head.

    if you want to learn about coins (numismatics), get a Redbook. doesn't have to be the current year. dollar-for-dollar, probably the best book out there. the prices can be off depending on the year and market conditions. collectables are kinda volatile.

    looks like a nice coin!!!

    i'd love to inherit or buy a jar full of em just like that. gratz.
