CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1943 Split Before Planchet 2.4 grams ?

    Need some reference and hints on what unitastics believe this coin should be cuz I know what it obviously looks like to me 1943 please give me some input I need help on this one and should I send it to get a tribulated and all that stuff examined help help thanks thanks

        it is not an error. that is heavy corrosion. i've seen plenty of split flans and struck after split and it's not either.
