  • 1986 make me rich....

hello, i'm going to start with this 1986 penny, which i feel is a mule clash error.
what i see is that the tops of the letters of the word "ONE" & the very top of the
letter "C" can be found at the bottom left on the obverse side of penny, see green arrow.
i have shown this coin to a local PCGS representative, & shared online with 2 Youtube coin
channels....& they were all incoclusive. i think i have something of value here....

are the "letter clashes" recessed or raised?

    they seem recessed.

sharper pics would go a long way.

Lincoln Memorial building along the left bottom of Lincolns coat.

Thanks for uploading the photos. While we don't discuss value on the CONECA board, leaving that to the open market, it does look like your coin was struck by clashed dies.

there is a chance it is PMD from a vice job since the clash looks like it is into the deep part of the base of lincoln's bust which would be too deep on the die to be clashed imo.

for my part, i cannot say 100% either way w/o seeing it in-hand but the odds are low that it is a clash.
