small strike through clips in wheat pennies?

Hi,

I found one small "staple" or "clip" as a retained "stike through", or so I thought (1st 2 pics)? I know it was hard to convince anyone but it seemed to cause machine doubling and interfere with the die strike. Questionable for sure. However, I found another wheat penny with what appear to be TWO (three?) similar retained "clips" at the rim "trust" area, which also interfered with the strike, and are retained (pics 3, 4, 5). They don't seem to be steel, but seem to be rigid enough to interfere with the strike?

the first one could be a die break with some pmd below. the rest don't look like anything i'd call an error.
