CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 39 henning?

The R in pluribus has serious weakness. A slight die crack runs from us to Monticello. The m in unum has blisters around it. The weight is 4.73 . I’ve done quite a bit of research and I think this may be a henning nickel. Asking for your opinions thank you

i'd lean towards no just because of how strong the strike is but i'm not 100% certain. there is a list of known dates and images out there if you search.

Your images are not the best, I tried to do an overlay of your reverse images of the dome die crack and what I think your showing as the die dent, can’t say for sure. We need to see better images that are sharp and in focus. What is the weight of your coin?

based on the images on the error-ref site, yours is not a match. it doesn't have the damaged R nor does that crack match up. the one on the site touches the bottom serif of the S. i'd like to see the weight to, though i'm still dubious.
