1982 small date copper Lincoln Center
Hello everybody I have this 1982 small date copper Lincoln cent with some really cool color on the reverse. How does it get that way ? Does it affect price? And what's going on with Liberty it looks blurred. Is this where mechanical doubling comes in? On the reverse there's a die crack on the left side of the memorial between the n and the i in United continuing to the memorial. I got a lot to learn and at times it's going to be difficult for me to understand things as I am a disabled vet so if I seem confused at times you'll know why LOL thank you againTags: None

the toning can occur a lot of different ways, legitimate and illegitimate. (i won't even try to list them all) if the toning is considered natural, is usually helps the value if it has what the market considers, appealing. bad toning in color and severity will certainly detract from value and condition. i'd say it probably detracts from the value of your coin, which probably isn't too much to begin with, so not much is lost. perhaps someone out in the world would pay a premium for it but it will be the exception, not the rule.
i don't see any blurring on the obv.
i concur, the reverse has a die crack. not uncommon.coinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com
