I need some advice
I've been selling on eBay, new seller. All the silver coins I've put up have sold quickly (I regret selling my 62 Franklin it was a high grade 68 I think) and I JUST listed another one and got an offer immediately. Am I pricing them too low for silver coins? 3 were Franklin half dollars, graded by NGC and ANACS, one was a toned American eagle I bought years ago (2012) for 25.00 sold it for 40, I just listed a 1933s walking liberty in rough shape and got an offer right away. I am in need of money... so do I keep listing them what I think is fair or go higher? I'm new at this. The coins I want to keep won't be put up at all.Tags: None

CONECA forum rules in a nutshell state not to talk about prices or grading g if the coins are raw. So, let's steer you in a direction where you can determine what the coins are worth.
Https://numismedia.com offers a collector fair market value pricing on coins. There are multiple tabs foe each coin type so as long as you can ball park a grade, it gives prices.
https:// pcgs.com offers prices for slabbed coins as well. Look under the price guide area
ngccoin.com under price guide offer pricing for slabbed coins as well.
Lastly, for about 40 bucks a year, one can subscribe to the Consumer Price Guide which is part of the Coin Dealer Newsletter. The CPG is updated once a quarter, so 40 bucks gets you 4 issues a year.
Which of these for the money is best ? It's tough to to say. The top 3 are free, so thats always a bonus.
it's good to see your making sales. It comes to a point to look at a store small store size to save money in the long run. Fees can become a pain. It all depends on what you paid for them, minus fees, shipping and any other costs. Some people add in the cost of having the coin slabbed to recoup some of the costs when they were sent in to the third party grading service. Even something is better than nothing. It saves the buyer of the coin weeks to months waiting on coins to return.
Asking too much and coins sit. Finding a price that you can be happy with is important.Last edited by MintErrors; 07-21-2023, 11:10 PM.Gary Kozera
