    old centime

Heres a nice 20 Centimes coin. Was part of a bag of "free money" from around the world put out by westinghouse refrigerators, ca 1954-55 as a little advertising gimmick. ALL coins unc, including coins from india, mexico, somalia, ceylon, peru, argentina, belgium, spain, austria, ecuado r,egypt, honduras, and probably more that im forgetting. South Africa is inn there too. Not every bag had all same coins, there were a mixture, they were put together by Royal Coin Co. New York City. pretty cool stuff in there that might hold a little value the condition they are in. neat old coins!

it is much neater the way these particular groups were issued than my normal channels!

this stuff is usually offered by the ton and i've bought hundreds of pounds of it over the past couple decades.

almost always find something neat in there.

Yeah,i did happen to get a few that seemed like they could bring decent amounts of dough, some coins were first year coins and some were last year coins.. My dads uncle used to fix appliances, and i got them from him years ago, but never looked at them until recently. Egypt coins with the head of the sphinx are around $10-15 each, of which there were many. Tiny coins, too. you ever hear of republica oriental del uruguay? i did not know that was the name of the country of uruguay, and its one of the smallest coins i have, just a hair over 15cm WIN_20230821_15_19_34_Pro.jpg WIN_20230821_15_19_48_Pro.jpg

Looks like they made quite a few of these, over 5 million of them.
Here is the data on the coin:
