what kind of error is this

its a 1957 d wheat and the error is sitting behind the 5

Looks like a minor die chip if I am looking at the same thing that you are. (Back side of he loop in the 5)

it extends as if behind the 5 thru the top as well

The mark behind and above the 5 looks to be a die dent. there is also a die chip.
