  • 1960-D lincoln date over date?

Hello, have a question about a 1960-D lincoln cent.I found these what look to be a date over date but although it does not match variety vista pics.So not sure what I'm looking at here. The other numbers seem to protrude in various areas and I do have them in various stages. Some more clear than other.

In my opinion, it looks like an issue withe the master hub which made the working dies. It's an issue that may have affected most or all of the 1960D small dates. It's an issue that was quite common. It almost looks like the mi ting workers retooled the date. There are others of this year which look worse.

The 1960 D year, was quite an issue, especially when they tried to hub the small/large date. That this easily recognized by the O in the date, and multiple fingers on the top of the 6.

Here is a long, interesting read...

Hey thanks! Yes I have several BU rolls and this one is all over the place. There are some that have little to no error damage. All the way from A to Z on this one. Thanks
