    Offset MAD ?

    Hi guys,

Need some information relative to my 1963 cent no mintmark, details of which to wit:

1, The reverse strike collar is intact and the portrait is clear.
    2. The obverse seems to have a thin rim (1-3 o'clock position), the edge and the rim seems to be level or in equal footing with its other and the fields is seems to be deep or is it capped shape. The motto's letter seems to be going upward touching the rim.

    Your reply is ighly appreciated.

    Thanks,

I have no idea what a "reverse strike collar" is. The rest of your description is opaque. A photo should clear it all up, if you're able to provide one.

      Hi Mike,

Sorry for the misconceptiion/misconstruction about the "reverse strike collar", what I meant is the reverse of the coin shows the standard strike for the reverse where the rim is intact.

I do hope this clarifies the matter. I don,t think a picture is possible at the moment but may be in the later date.

      Thanks again,

The remainder of your description is still murky, but as best as I can tell, you are describing a minor misaligned die error.
