    2021-D crossing quarter

i started seeing this in some coins so i put it on my camera and it looks like its triple and quad doubling or a lot of machine doubling. but i thought that all stopped when it went to single squeeze press. its really noticeable on the back of the boat but then it works up to the front man

The single squeeze refers to the making of the working die.

The machine doubling or worthless doubling happens when those working dies are added to a minting press and coins are produced.

If the press is slightly off, worthless doubling can be evident.

I tried to zoom into the photo with my tablet to have a look, but it does get fuzzy. If the areas of concern are step like, looks damaged or areascare sheared off, especially near the base of the coin, it may be worthless doubling.
