CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    The 6 in the date looks like it got hot and started to slid off. The mint mark and the last 9 look a little that way also.

    Plateing disruption occuring when the coin is jolted, however minutely, by recipricating momentum. Which sometimes fallss a little out of tune. Picture a tuneing fork. It can retain energy. A coin can too. And can look " Out of tune"- as it were . Common. I am not Coneca Being out of tune excludes a coin like this from grades higher than 65
    If too many coins are pushed out per minute. Then. This is the result
