1969S penny inside a 1969 mint set; no “IN”

I just recently discovered that the 1969S Penny I have inside the 1969 Philadelphia mint set has no “IN” before GOD on the obverse. Has anyone seen anything like this? It looks like scratches on the mint set coin. Comments appreciated

Maybe a struck through grease filled error?

In my opinion. I cannot male out anything on the photos. I highly suggest cropping out anything else and have just the coin in question in the photo. If it is missing the IN. then yes it could be a struck through grease or other material. It was pretty common to see from the 1960s thru 70s.

If you are asking me, from what I can see of the coin, it looks like a die chip. A larger picture of the coin would help me and others help you.
