1973 S Proof Doubling or MD Lincoln Cent
Hello, I came across a 1973 S Proof cent the other day. The coin appears to have some doubling or could be MD. I know there's 1 example on coppercoins.com. Also wondering if there are any coin sites that may have other examples? I tried to take the best pictures I could with my scope. Thanks. RayTags: None

if you look at the bottom forum (from the main page here) you will see "Numismatic Site Links."
you'll find a few sites that list out rpm, ddo etc all with different listings and numbering systems, for better or worse. you have to do more research to find out which system the TPGs will use and/or the buying public.
it looks like it matches THIS one to me. nice find, images and presentation.coinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com

In my opinion, it looks like a winner to me, even though I openly admit I don't care nor collect "extra thickness", eye, ear or column doubled dies.
Congrats on the find.
Die varieties such as doubled dies, Repunched mint marks (RPMs), Over Mint Marks (OMMs), Repunched Dates, Overdates, coin design varieties, as well as regular coins and error coins.

For the everyone that is interested to know.... most of the notification features from this website I have turned off. So posts like this I just stumble on. I don't care for a flood of notification emails. I won't openly discuss which ones are turned on for now....I don't mind messages for general info from this website. I do try to respond to any from my website, and select messages about coins.
Occ, select members on this forum and the CONECA staff, you know how to reach me if necessary, I don't mind it one bit.Gary Kozera
