1978 Roosevelt not on the list DDO?

Hello, thank you for the join. I am new to this and looking for eyes and opinions on this dime. Excuse any part of the amateur post it would only let me load one picture. Thank you again in advance. It is a 1978 Roosevelt I think DDO?? But need some expert eyes.

ddo/ddr/rpm/rpd etc are varieties, not errors by numismatic standards.

it doesn't look like ddo to me but just machine doubling to my eyes.

I agree with occnumis2021 . The other impression is a lot lower. It looks step or shelf like. Some of the letters look thinner. It's a form of worthless doubling.

At https://doubleddie.com John Wexler created a worthless doubling section. He uses a side by side comparison of worthless doubling and an actual doubled die.

Many people have issues determining the difference. The doubled dies have the Impressions close to the same height. You may see a classic cookie cutter style lines where one impression overlaps another.

In my perspective, when i attribute my own coins, I look at a lot of coins. I trust the attributors have documented all known ddo/ddr varieties, especially if they are decades old. I tell myself it's not common to find an undocumented variety, unless its a newer coin, so it must be something else. Sure, there is always a slim chance a new variety might be found, but odds are very, very slim.
