  • 1921-D 10c MDO or DDO?

Hi everybody! I can't find any examples of a 1921-d 10c DDO, so I am wondering what I have here. It looks like DDO, but I am having a hard time distinguishing the difference using other examples. The date is clear doubling as well as the "LIBERTY". I am anxious to see what your opinions are. Thanks!

    machine doubling.

when you see it simultaneously on various aspects like the legend, bust, date, mm etc, then it is almost always MD.

also, to give you confidence, this is obvious MD. so if you find anything close to this, it is MD.

top tip. look up A LOT of ddo/ddr,rpm etc at high resolution, then look at known MD. there is really no comp 99% of the time. there are SOME that are tough to distinguish but they are usually very minor ddo/ddr etc. anything strong like what your merc has, is very obvious to discern one from another.

    happy hunting.

    decent close-ups btw
