CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1972 to 1989 RPMs???

    Hello all again,

Can you please comment on our assessments of these posted RPMs (but could be <=50% accurate)? The 2 other NVTE's are nodding in unison that I may have the more loot tonight for our pooled collections. Hopefully true.

    Thank you.

I see nothing of significance here. Once again, you're looking too hard and are victims of an overactive imagination.

Once again, you are reaching out beyond Pluto. In order for it to be a RPM, doubled die or trail die, there must be sufficient proof that it is such and not just a few very inconspicuous marks.

Hello BOTH and thank you for clarification.

It was eagerness to cope up with my co NVTEs of their potential finds. But all 3 of us admit made the hurried incorrect assessments last night.

Will try a notch higher to do better next time.
