CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1926 S Wheat Cent

    Hello all, just wondering if this is a Double Die or some other type of Doubling. Thank you for your help.

        Much better pictures, however, I zoomed them in to 400 X and did not see any type of doubling. After that setting, pixelation began to start and I could not make out anything.

          ok is there a reason this guy below is allowed to post these same post over and over again that has nothing to do with coins or this site, and filling this forum with unnessesary junk. just my thought

            Hi Jimmy - Some people have a nack for lousing things up and this is just one of many persons who have tried.

            We try to stay on top of things like this, however, it would take 24/7 monitoring and that we can not do. What we can do is delete the post that are like this when we see them, which in most cases are done within a couple of hours.
