1959 D Lincoln Cent lamination error reverse

Hello. Going through some 59 Lincoln’s, and came across this coin. Though maybe a lamination error, or die crack. Haven’t found much info on this. The reverse you can see that it goes from the far left of the memorial building, through the top left of building and up towards the middle
of the coin. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks so much. IMG_2795.jpeg IMG_2794.jpeg IMG_2796.jpeg

In my opinion, the photos are a bit grainy to determine what it is.
I can partially see the line.

Laminations typically are typically a loose layer of metal. It might rise slightly above the surface of the coin. It can look almost flaky. If its a lamination, its best put in a holder so the lamination stays intact.

Die cracks tend to be a jagged line. It is slightly raised on the coin.

In my opinion, its probably a lamination issue. My only concern is the area near the rim close to the left side of the Memorial building.

I’am in Florida area, and there is not very many trusted sources I can show this coin to in person. What’s your opinion on grading?

Per CONECA forum rules, they frown on talking about grading raw coins. In any event, I personally am not ANA certified grader so my opinion would be subjective.

There may be a coin show or two in the area. I know the FUN show happens in Orlando 2x a year. I have no idea what other shows happen wjthin Florida.
But, CoinZip may lists a few shows i yur local area.

Using your fav web search engine, you can search for
ANA grading standards and there should be a link for money.org

          https://www.money.org/official-grading-standards/

Error coins that are uncirculated tend to bring in more of a premium than circulated coins. Add in some drama and that can add additional premium. Since CONECA forum rules frown on values as well which I tend to follow, I wont comment on that side. You can search auction houses for the same basic error or normal coin to get a general idea what a coin might be worth. Here is a generic list of coin auction houses:

          Heritage auctions
          Stacks and Bowers
          Great Collections
          David Lawrence Rare Coins
          Sothebys
          Christies
Many local, regional and country wide auctions
          Blue box auctions
          Teletrade
          Ebay

          Happy hunting.
