  • 1985 D cent maybe die dents

I recently found this 1985 D cent in circulation. I was wondering what kind of an error it was. I did do some research on the coin and I think they are die dents, but I'm not to sure. By examining the coin the dents look like craters .The dents are located on both sides of the coin as you see in the photos. The dent also took out part of the date on the obverse side of the coin . I would like if anybody could give me some feed back and let me know if these are die dents.

You didn't include any photos. And on a coin, die dents would appear as raised blemishes.
