In my opinion...No, I have not heard of this.
If you suspect you have one or know of one, we would need clear photos of the full reverse, the designer initials and the AM letters of AMERICA.
As far as I know, 2000 was the last fiasco for Close or Narrow AM's.

One thing you have to account for is, this istotally a new design. The Close/Wide AM applies to the Lincoln Memorial reverse. Nothing has been documented on a quick search for shield cents. You would have to rsearch Lincoln Shield cent reverse working die types for business and proof coins. More than likely they will be the same.
I suggest reading my post about how to take photos with a cell phone.
The process is easy and result should be a lot better.
