US Mint 1996 Uncirculated Coin Set

I have the P, D and a W Roosevelt Dime (50th Anniversary coin) US Mint Coin Set. All of the coins seem to have DD or some type of error on obverse is this common?

the .05 piece looks to be machine doubling from the raise off the field but flat shelf like image, typically seen for that kind of doubling. the others while i know you can see a repeated image i don't believe is considered doubling and more do to the movement of the planchet's metal when being pressed. the additional image is not raised off the surface but more blended in with the metal. does that make any sense?

I had to go back and read some notes to understand somewhat. Once I get familar with even just a couple errors it should get easier identifying the different types, though there seems to be a lot of loopholes.
