CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

2024 D QUARTER (DR. MARY EDWARDS WALKER)

I believe that this 2024 D Quarter is a doubled die and possibly a tripled doubling. It is a Dr. Mary Edwards Walker quarter. I compared it to Wexler's 2024 P Quarter (Dr. Mary Edwards Walker). https://doubleddie.com/3638488.html

On my quarter, I saw DDO and DDR on the entire coin. A double eye is visibly seen next to each eye on Mary Edwards Walker's face. I also saw a double ear on each ear. Washington's eye is also doubled. I hope the pictures I provided are clear enough for someone from the Coneca team to observe. The link is below.

in my opinion,. I vary rarely visit unknown links from other websites. I used to work in network security. Its in my blood.

Doubled dies are just that, working dies that have been doubled. The impressions are sunk into steel working dies, so the areas of doubling dont change positions. This means the images of the documented doubled die should look very close to what the attributor published photos of. Typically there is no "close enough", it should match up.

In my signature block, I have posts that will help people to post in the right forum area ( your coin may be a variety, not an error), How to take good photos with a cell phone and the way to have photos on this forum. The last one relates to letting us help you.

Some one else may come in and follow the URL and give their opinion.
