Strike through? 1935 P Buffalo Nickel

Is this a strike through from the rim by the date headed NE to the chin? Send in to NGC to get verified? Would it straight grade? There is machine roller damage on the obverse, that's why I ask.

In my opinion, if there is any sort of damage, they may give it a details grade. You also have to understand the return on investment. It will probably cost northward of 60+ bucks to get this slabbed, authenticated and examined. Its a circulated buffalo. Errors typically lose quite a lot of value when coins are circulated.

I cannot get the photos to let me zoom in and take a closer look. Photos can be about 800x800 pixels here. Not sure why I cant zoom in. From a distance, with the coin being circulated, it can be a tough call to identify whether its post mint damage or a struck through.
I will attempt another look at this to see if the site will let me zoom in.
