1985 P Lincoln Cent possible counter clash
Hello, I came across a 1985 Lincoln cent the other morning and noticed that there was a backwards "E" Inside the second column of the monument. Very strange, At first I thought it mite have been a floating letter? I did a search on Google but did not find much info. I was hoping that there maybe more information on it. Also is it a recognized variety? I would appreciate any input. Thank you, I will attach some pictures.Tags: None

In my opinion, you might have a clashed die. The coin has been abraded, meaning those raised scratches are there to potentially remove a clash from both working dies. You would have to go to madieclashes.com to see if there is a match. In the search box put in the coins year. Look for 1c listings. Look for an overlay for a Lincoln cent of that year to see what the clash could be.
