1928 capped, clashed (and broadstruck?) penny
Hi - Nonpaid member here. I'm having trouble classifying what's going on with this 1928 penny. I can't tell if it's truly an error or if someone messed with it. It seems an obvious die clash on the obverse, and maybe capped? There's some wording or numbers to the right of Lincoln's face that I can't make out. The reverse looks like it's broadstruck and capped? Posting here and elsewhere looking for feedback. Thanks. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

In my opinion, it appears to be post mint damage. It looks like coins were stacked together and put into a vise or other device and a lot of pressure was applied. But, its not even close in pressure compared to what the US Mint uses.
