1983 P Lincoln penny possible doubling on the ear.

I have posted a picture of the front and back of the coin along with a few other areas I have small questions on. 1:It appears there is doubling on the ear and piece of hair behind the ear. From what I see it appears there is also doubling on 2:IGTW. flip to the back 3ne cent, E. Pluribus Unum and United States of America also appear to be doubled. I thought that these were all different working dies. Is it possible to have the three ddo/ddo/ddr from the same working dies?

In my opinion, the research websites
    Conecaonline.info
    Varietyvista.com

Will show collectors what each doubled die looks like. Its very important to read the description of each. It will tell you if there was a DDO and a DDR documented on the same working die. The description also tells you where doubling was documented. Remember, these are steel working dies, the doubling on these working dies dont move locations.

The reverse near UNITED STATES and EPU might have been subject to a light strike through like grease. Nothing too major, but it could affect the strike of the coin, adding in some mechanical damage as well, affecting both sides if the coin shifted ever so slightly.

It could very well be die deteroration on the reverse, where the working die has worn down significantly, since these individual Lincoln cent working dies are known to last close to 1 million strikes before being retired.

It doesnt look like a doubled die to me, since the letters are not thicker. The reverse looks like damage as well, maybe victim of some one stepping on the coin with the reverse side down on concrete. If this coin was circulated, its subject tocall sorts of issues.

It could be a combination of the two above.
