    2025-P Nickel O Tail Chip

Hello Coneca Community, I just joined both the forum and the organization today. I collect mostly 1800 and 1900 hundreds coins and obsolete denominations, along with mint errors and other curiosities. I recently acquired quite a few uncirculated 2025-P Nickels and would like to share a discovery with you.

I believe this cute little tail on the O is a die chipthumb_60219.jpg

Based on these images I think the chip came out of the lower left side of the Othumb_60221.jpg

Given your experience does it sound like I am on the right track?

I am sure it's not damage or a one off as in the last three rolls I searched, I found a total of 11 examples all identical, and on some nice coins too!

    Thank you for looking.

In my opinion, it might be but, that is extremely minor.
Die cracks are pretty common on later stage die state coins.
When magnification gets above 40x its getting to the point where everything looks like it could be something.
