  • 2007 P Washington Dollar - Struck Through Wire

I found this in a 2007 mint set. It appears that two wire fragments got in the way of the strike on this 2007 P GW $1.

The mint also appears to have gone overboard with die polishing process on this one. Notice the overpolished 'Racoon' eye -- making for an odd looking GW.

Two errors for the price of 1.

Here is another presidential dollar strike thru I found a while back. This 2007 P John Adams dollar has 3 separate marks. I presume they too are stuck thru some sort of wire fragments.
