CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hi guys, I found this one today, on the reverse the left upper part of the building broke off and got stamped over the top of the U, this seems to have messed up the pillers on that side also, what do you experts think, is this a good find or what? Thanks for all replys Mike

    It also looks like the s"s in states, bottom lobes look doubled?

      Try pressing down on that bump on the U. I believe it will collapse which would indicate that it is a trapped gas bubble.

        If the lump in the U doesn't collapse then it's probably a die chip. I don't know what's going on with the pillars.

          The high spot will not collapse, heres another pic of the pillars and where the chunk came from.
