It is difficult to say from your photos, but I think I see the shadowing of a second thumb South of the primary. I would be happy to take a first hand look for you. There have been a couple of Denver FY DDRs reported from the mint sets.
    Thanks,

This doubled die has been documented by Billy Crawford and is one of the nicest of the Denver mint doubled dies to be found from that mint in regards to the 2009 (FY) cents.

To date, there are actually four doubled dies from Denver in the 2009 (FY) Lincoln cent series. The one that you have shown is from the mint set, there are two others to be found in rolls and another in the mint set. One from a roll has not been listed yet, but is similar to 2009D(FY), CDDR-001. Surprisingly, these doubled dies just started to "show up" in the last few weeks.

While it maybe true that the Denver mint is less prone to producing varieties, this also maybe a case where we have not been searching those "D" mint rolls because of the previous statement. However, this also holds true for the 2009P(EC) series cent; more doubled dies are being found on the reverse of these cents for people are now mastering how to detect the differences in the somewhat complicated log pattern. As with the FY series, I am sure that there are Denver mint EC doubled dies just waiting for the right person to find them.

Sorry but i never heard of post mint damage in a mint set before I have to agree with the people that said very doubtful and in all my years of coin dealing i have never came across a mint set with post mint damage.

I've seen many mint sets with damaged coins. Many times the coins are damaged by the crimping machine that seals each plastic pocket.

I'm really surprised that with all the years you say you've been doing this you didn't know this. It seems very elementary.
