  • 1983 No S Proof Roosevelt Dime found in 1983 Proof Set

It's been a great week cherrypicking at the local coin store..Monday showed 3, 1979 T-II Proof sets, with all 6 coins with the T-II mintmark, out of only 12 checked........and, a sweet 1981-S T-II, clear, flat S Susan B. Anthony Dollar in an otherwise T-I Proof set, one other has just the nickel as T-II.(I read the mints staggered the changes, thus, some sets are all T-I, all T-II, or, mixed T-I, T-II)......today's picks include this 1983 Proof Set, with the rare "No S" mintmark Dime.....I suppose the whole set intact is worth more than the dime taken out and slabbed?

Quite a bumper crop, especially the proof set with the no-S dime. I would advise you to keep it in the proof set.
