1968-D Washington Quarter 1-R-1 ???
I had to open one of my 1968 mint sets due to toning .and I found this,I think maybe a Concea 1-R-1.look at my photos tell me what you think?? every letter on rev looks like there doubled to me,plus the mark in I pointed out in red above the motto has been on all 3 I seen graded by Ngc 1 by Anacs
No one right 100% of timesI maybe wrong and will I say, sorry I was wrongTags: None

I just looked up the 1968-D doubled die CONECA 1-R-I in the CPG and unfortunately it is not your coin. While the doubling on UNITED appears to be somewhat the same (except for the notching), the deciding factor is the doubling on RICA of AMERICA. On the doubled die, the doubling is seen on the right side of the design elements; on your coin it is seen on the left side.
I believe this is a case of machine doubling that mimics the DDR-001.
