CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    At First Glance...1968-S Massive DDO Lincoln Cent

    My heart stopped when I first saw this 1968-S Cent---quickly lost interest..but, thought I would post pics of MDD for new error collectors to see...flat, shelf-like appearance, NO notching, and, the doubling takes away from the number, not adding to it, mintmark ALSO doubled..true DDO the mintmark is NOT doubled........bummer....still, finding a BU coin like this in a roll is neat.

        I agree someday there maybe a DV class for MMD coins plus it is only a cent that may grow interest too.
