Off hand, I would say grease filled strike. If the reverse shows a normal strike, then that is what it is. However, if the reverse is like the obverse, then you can start thinking of other possibilities other than grease filled.

Definitely a grease strike. The strong design rim makes it an easy call. Also, the fact that Lincoln's bust is minimally affected while the lettering is largely obliterated shows that the coin was struck through grease.
