CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1956D Cent strong RPM

    Hi Guys

    Okay this is far better than the red book describes (not just a shadow). I found it in a wheat lot of 1,000 coins. I was told by the shop owner "buying them would be waste of time and $$ as they have been picked over many times before being bagged for sale".

    It may not be worth much but finding it was well worth the hunt to me!

      Just goes to show you that even though they are picked over, a good find can still be made. Nice going.
