There is doubling evident evenly around the complete head of Queen Elizabeth II with the exception of the tip of the nose and the front section of the tiara. There are no step-edged or angular appearances to any section of this doubling. The Doubling appears to be extra metal with a smooth rolled flowing look. I do not believe this is Machine Doubling, but need to rule out Die-Deterioration. It however does seem too defined and tidy for the typical worn appearance of die-deterioration. All opinions would be gratefully appreciated.
