    40% Off Center 1875 S Dime

    Hey guys!

Some of you know me from the other coin forums but I figured I'd mosey on over here. My name is Matt Dinger and I'm a coin dealer from Indianapolis. I have been an error collector for some time and I learned a lot from my friend the late great Pete Bishal.

I wanted to start off sharing a new coin I just picked up yesterday.

    Enjoy!

Very nice off-center. I do want to thank you for showing us this error coin for it gave me another idea for an entry on error-ref.com; mintmark placement.

I see that the 1875 dime had two places where the mintmark could be placed within that year. Though not as dramatic as the 1917 Walking Liberty halves, it is still an oddity.
