1993-D quarter error?
Is this quarter missing clad or PMD?Last edited by CmonManggg; 01-16-2013, 12:13 PM.Tags: None

There is a possibility that this a partial clad planchet that has been struck with quarter dies.

However, it would need an in hand examination to confirm this. I suggest that you contact Mike Diamond through a PM using this site or error-ref.com site.

It's not a missing clad error. The blotchy coverage on the obverse, the soft margins of the copper-colored areas, and the fact that copper-colored areas appear on both faces indicate that the coin is simply stained.Mike Diamond. Error coin writer and researcher.
